That’s why we are excited to offer Alpha, a nationally recognized program from Alpha designed to help people engage in meaningful conversations about life, purpose, and the Christian faith.
Alpha is for anyone who is curious—whether you’re new to faith, returning after many years, or simply interested in having open conversations about life’s biggest questions. There is no pressure, no judgment, and no expectation. Just honesty, hospitality, and community.
What Is Alpha?
Alpha is an 11-week series that creates an environment for people to explore the Christian faith through three simple elements:
- Connection
Each session begins with time to share a meal or light refreshments. This creates space to get to know one another, relax, and build genuine friendships. At Wiley Church, we value community deeply, and Alpha’s welcoming environment makes it easy for everyone to feel included.
- A Short Video or Talk
Every week features a video or message addressing foundational questions such as:
- Who is Jesus?
- Why and how do I pray?
- How does God guide us?
- Who is the Holy Spirit?
These engaging presentations are designed to spark conversation and offer different perspectives in a clear and relatable way.
- Open Conversation
After the video, participants break into small groups where they can share thoughts, ask questions, or simply listen. There is no right or wrong question. Alpha is all about creating an open environment where people can explore faith without feeling pressured or judged.
