Ashtyn Goshaw is the Rehab Director at Wiley Mission and has been a dedicated speech-language pathologist for six years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from West Chester University and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee. Throughout her career, Ashtyn has developed a strong passion for working with individuals who have neurological conditions, dysphagia, and those who benefit from assistive technology communication strategies.
Ashtyn was inspired to pursue a career in speech-language pathology because of her deep desire to help people and make a meaningful impact on their lives. What she enjoys most about her role is assisting patients in reaching their goals while helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.
As the Rehab Director, Ashtyn is committed to providing compassionate care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Working at Wiley Mission, Ashtyn values the welcoming and kind atmosphere that the team fosters. She notes that all staff members share the same goal: to help residents thrive. To ensure her patients feel comfortable during their rehabilitation, Ashtyn takes the time to truly listen to them and empathize with their concerns.
Outside of her professional life, Ashtyn enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her fiancé and their dogs, finding balance and joy in both her career and personal life.
