With three decades of dedicated service at Wiley Nursing Home, Sonya Strittmatter brings a wealth of experience, compassion, and leadership to her role as Assistant Director of Nursing. Starting her career as a CNA in 1988.  She came to Wiley in 1993 starting as a floor nurse advancing through positions as charge nurse, MDS Coordinator, and QAPI Coordinator, Sonya has developed a deep understanding of every aspect of resident care.

Certified in both MDS and QAPI, she specializes in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement, monitoring protocols to enhance care outcomes and reduce risks. Her hands-on approach and commitment to excellence have helped foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and compassion within the nursing team.

Outside of work, Sonya enjoys the outdoors, gardening, motorcycle riding, jet skiing, and spending time with her three adult children — passions that keep her energized and balanced in both her personal and professional life.
