Kristen Lanza, OTD
Kristen Lanza is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with 10 years of experience helping patients regain independence and return to meaningful daily activities. She earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in 2016.
Kristen has a wide range of clinical interests, including subacute rehabilitation, post-stroke recovery, cardiac care, lymphedema management, and mental health. She enjoys working with diverse patient populations and tailoring care to meet each individual’s unique needs.
Her passion for occupational therapy began with a desire to help others, and was further solidified when her grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. Seeing firsthand how much he benefited from and truly enjoyed his occupational therapy sessions inspired her to pursue a career in the field.
Kristen’s favorite part of being a therapist is putting all the pieces together for each patient, getting to know who they are, understanding their goals, and creating treatment plans that are both meaningful and engaging. She finds great fulfillment in helping patients return to the activities that matter most in their lives.
She describes Wiley as a warm and caring environment where staff genuinely work together as a team to make patients and residents feel at home.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her husband, son, dog, and extended family. She also loves relaxing and making memories at the shore.
